Someone asked on one of the other reviews what languages it comes in, as far as I can tell from the information on the box it's English only, and there is no language selection screen either. The special features are also not in High Definition, however, that said the episode quality is still excellent and alone is worth the price you pay. I will say, however, that there are some shots that have a slightly less crisp quality to them but these are very few and far between, and negligible in number compared to the overall show length. The quality of the up scaling is fantastic, any long running fans of the show will be able to see the quality difference immediately.

I'm simply going to say this.Ītlantis is by far one of my favourite TV shows of all time, and when I realised it was available on Bluray I simply couldn't resist. I'm not going to go into some fake, magazine-style review of the series, cut and paste plot descriptions or critically debate and compare it to every other Sci-Fi show in existence. Sandwhiches in plastic boxes ok, might be believable they prepared them there in Atlantis, but Evian bottles from earth ? Really ? Perfect example of ruining the credibility of an otherwise mostly good show… Those stupid plastic bottles everywhere and all the time really ruined it for me…. They are in a far away galaxy all across the whole universe… and people are dinking stupid french Evian water in plastic bottles ? Seriously ? It totally ruins the show cause it’s so totally ridiculous they would transport plastic water bottles from earth for the hundreds of people living in Atlantis… ( not to mention the waste and recycling aspect, but OK, the show is over 10 years old). What almost ruined the whole show for me was THE most stupid product placement beginning in season 3 which really spoiled many episodes for me.
Some episodes are really good, some are a bit far fetched and boring, but overall good entertaining and likeable caracters.

The series itself is entertaining for the most part. I assume this is because of the extremely poor packaging on MGM's behalf as it leads to lots of laying scattered around in the case.I will be returning this item, but if you want to buy this item be sure of the risk that the packaging means that discs will most probably not be in the case properly and may be scratched Season 1 disc 1 has got a very deep scratch and after putting the disc in my blu ray player it fails to recognise it is there. This is where I encountered the main problem. After putting them back in the holders I decided to check over the discs. But after unsealing the item and opening the case I was met with blu ray discs scattered all in the case. This review is for the product I received rather than the TV show itselfThe show itself is one of my most favourite shows ever and is definitely up there with SG-1, but the latter being surely superiorThe blu ray boxset I received however was not in good condition at all. Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 August 2021 Season 1 disc 1 has deep scratch and doesn't play properly !
