But i can put the card in it after windows 7 loads, and it gets recognized, installed and operates normally. I get the standard "104-No Support, please remove and restart". Got that info from a Softpaq info page for this model. Of course because it's me, the HP support part of site is down (as of 9/5/16 12:30 pm) so i cant get any specs or find what the original radio was. The radio I want to use in it DOES work in this laptop. I think, problem was I got this laptop originally w/out a wireless in it. Original Wireless radio was a HP part# 441090-001. Processor: Intel® Core i5-2450M CPU 2.50GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHzĭirect me to the right place if i posed this in the wrong section, and thanks in advance

System Model: HP Pavilion dv6 Notebook PC Want option to switch between AHCI/IDE if possible also UEFI options if available (because i think this laptop has some sort of uefi support from what i can see in the driers/support page but since I installed windows 10 it literally takes 5-10 minutes to get to the login screen, i'll see the windows logo then it goes to a long black screen then the logo again than to the login screen and i think these hidden options if available or if even possible can help me) and also this Advanced tab i hear everyone talking about.īut my main priority is uefi options and ahci/ide if possible but will settle for what i get, beggers have no choice right
